These two kids are wrapping up their afternoon surf session as they head up the stairs of Moonlight beach. Although school started back up at the end of August the weather on the coast is still great for surfing.

From the wooden staircase overlooking the beach, people can observe the coast’s beautiful skies, waves, and families enjoying their Saturday. With some COVID-19 restrictions being lifted the beaches continue to stay open, and the community remains socially distanced.

As the date of the presidential election is getting closer by the minute, more people are encouraging each other to vote this November. The state of California is offering voting registration online, by mail, and in-person this 2020.

Establishments continue to change some of their rules and regulations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The community can look and follow signs stating, 6ft apart distancing, facial covering, one family per seating arrangement, and more.
