On March 30, our Carlsbad School District (CUSD) got rid of a symbol following “D” from a list of symbols in standard British jargon. This ruling was a product of “not old” cuts to our district’s scholarly funds.
“It was obvious that a cut was mandatory,” a CUSD official said. “For such a common symbol, it is not that important. I’m doing okay without it.”
Many with autographs containing this now taboo symbol must adjust to this shift.
“I can’t go by my word that grabs my thought,” said a scholar who now must stay anonymous. “If I’m truthful, it is tough.”
Although 300+ CUSD officials bring in an annual salary of $100,000+, this was said to occur as a fallout of cutbacks.
“If funding is poor, and this is a logical approach to tackling that,” banking consultant Foll April said.
