Austin Jew is currently a Junior renewing his role as Broadcast Editor-In-Chief for the 2023-2024 school year. Austin, in his free time, enjoys editing and playing games.

Samuel Daher is a senior and Co Broadcast Editor-in-Chief for The Sage. Samuel gives diligent and newsworthy stories and broadcast packages while leading his peers to become sophisticated broadcast journalists. Nick Cepek is a senior in his fourth year of The Sage. This year he is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of The Sage website and broadcast section.

Nadia Razzaq is honored to be Web Editor-in-Chief during her final and fourth year with The Sage. This year, she hopes to foster and welcome unique perspectives to the publication. Outside of her work, she loves photography and road trips.

Isabella Bernabeo is a senior at Sage Creek High School, returning for her third year with The Sage as the Assistant Web Editor-in-Chief and Opinion Editor. During her free time, Isabella enjoys playing soccer, listening to music, and writing.  
Elijah Sumlin, Staff Reporter
Elijah Sumlin is a freshman at Sage Creek and a new member of The Sage. He loves listening to music, playing basketball, and hanging out with friends.
Tomiris Gumar, Executive Director
Tomiris Gumar is a senior and Executive Director for The Sage. In her free time, she goes to Carlsbad Village to support local businesses and enjoy blueberry cheesecake ice cream on the beach in the company of her close friends.
Angela Huang, Staff Reporter
Angela Huang is a sophomore at Sage Creek first year as a staff in The Sage. She’s on the school volleyball team and works at the Boys and Girls Club. When she’s not in either of those occupations she likes to tend to her plants, read, and go outside. Cafes are her favorite place to be.
Marisa Cepek, Staff Reporter
Marisa Cepek is a freshman at Sage Creek and a staff member at The Sage. She enjoys sports, video editing, and listening to music.
Juliette D’Eliseo, Sports Editor
Juliette D’Eliseo is a junior and Sports Editor of The Sage. She enjoys video editing and filming. She is going to play volleyball in college and study Film and Directing.

Levi Underwood is a senior at Sage Creek. If he isn’t playing baseball, you’ll probably find him at the beach with his friends. He is new to The Sage but excited to learn.

Jacob Dougherty is a junior at Sage Creek and the current News and Features editor. This is his seventh year studying journalism and he hopes this year will be his best yet. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music and going to the beach.
