  • At The Goods in Carlsbad Village, the “closed” sign remains flipped towards customers on Thursday, after a robbery sometime Tuesday night. Baba Coffee was robbed the night prior, stirring concern for other businesses on State Street.

  • Mallards waddle in the parking lot of Ralphs. These feathered friends can make any trip to the Poinsettia Village Plaza a lot more interesting.

  • The curbside service at the Dove Library is open for distribution. Returned items are quarantined for seven days to ensure the health and safety of Carlsbad residents.

  • Carlsbad residents take in the overlook of the Buena Vista Lagoon at Maxton Brown Park. The park was established in 1965 to honor Lt. Maxton Brown Jr. who spent hours sighting over 150 species of birds at the lagoon.
