Duke is a junior this year and participates in many extracurricular activities, such as Cross Country, Surf, Tech Theater and Track. When he isn't at school, he can be found out in the water catching waves or gaming with friends online.
Gavyn Townsend, Staff Reporter
Gavyn Townsend is currently a sophomore at Sage Creek High School and he is looking forward to working with The Sage once again. His hobbies include laying down with his dog, eating In-N-Out and going to the beach or pool with friends. Anticipating an amazing year, Gavyn is excited to show his interest in photography.
Christopher Kathman, Broadcast Editor-in-Chief
This is Chris' third year with The Sage, and has been promoted to Broadcast Editor-in-Chief after years of hard work. His love for the Oxford Comma cannot even beat his love for The Sage.
Paige Zepeda, Sports Editor
Paige Zepeda is one of two sports editors for The Sage, this is her fourth year in the program. When not reporting for The Sage you can probably catch her working at the KFC/Taco Bell in The Village. She looks forward to a great year.
Harper Hughes, Sports Editor
Harper Hughes is a senior and this is her second year reporting for The Sage. You can find her on the soccer field or spending time with her family and friends. She is very excited to be one of the editors for the sports section.
Tristin Hoffman, Web Editor-in-Chief
As Web Editor-in-Chief this year, Tristin Hoffman is excited to watch The Sage flourish and is anticipating each and every journalistic adventure that will come the publications way! An employee at In-N-Out, filmmaker and music nerd, Tristin also loves to run and spend time with her loved ones.

    The vaping piece was very misinformed. News sites did interviews on people who got the illness and they cut out the parts of those people saying that they purchase cartridges from the black market. Some people who got the illness spoke out against news sites that did this and some are on you tube. Other than the vaping piece, the Sage was great as usual.
