Madison Young is a senior and proud Editor-in-Chief of The Sage Publication. She is extremely excited about what this year has to offer for her both in and outside of being a part of the editing staff. Heavily involved on campus, you can find Madison anywhere and ask any questions you have regarding The Sage or various school events.

Sage Creek students went "Down to Cabo" this past Friday at the Back to School Dance. Being the first dance of the year, ASB still has a lot in store for this school year in terms of events that the student population can take part in and enjoy.

The class of 2019 gathers at the peak of Calavera Mountain on the morning of Aug. 29, 2018. The senior class gathered that morning in the bottom parking lot of Sage Creek at 5:15 a.m. in order to successfully make it to the top of the mountain by the time the sun rose.

Elizabeth Gerhardt holds the second place trophy for the CIF state cross country meet. Gerhardt came in 39th place within the 195 girls in her league. The Sage Creek girls cross country team took home this trophy after a successful season full of accomplishments.

Brooklynn Deal (junior) embraces teammate, Natalie Huestis (sophomore) once receiving her 1st place team medal after racing 19:45 at the San Diego CIF Cross Country Championships. After three long seasons of racing Cross Country, this accomplishment had overjoyed Deal with all of the hard work that she had devoted to the sport throughout her high school career.
