Bailey Daynes is a senior and staff reporter for Sage Creek High School’s online newspaper, The Sage. When not drowning in the stresses of homework and college applications, Bailey enjoys binge watching The Office or Grey’s Anatomy on Netflix; however, when the WiFi in her house eventually crashes, she is not opposed to settling for a night out at The Taco Stand, leaving the rest of her time dedicated to counting down the days until graduation.

The Student Senate, which met for the first time in Feb. 2018 in the cafeteria, is a body of students representing all grade levels. After bringing the idea of a 8 a.m. start time to teachers and admin, Principal César Morales brought the idea to the student senate for a discussion of the pros and cons.
