In this year’s annual food drive, teachers compete to win Cans for Kona.

The math department take the top three leads with Domenic Manente with 549 cans, Erin Turner with 267 cans, and Madison McLean with 57 cans. Valerie Park and R. Lewis Cordell follow the three with 49 and 42 cans.

Here are the current standings:

Manente 549
Turner 267
McLean 57
Park 49
Cordell 42

The school’s goal this year is to collect 1,700 cans. With the top five alone, Sage Creek has collected 964 cans.

By the end of the fundraiser, the top two teams will win free Kona Ice on Dec. 20. Not to mention, every student that turns in 5 cans to their third period class will receive a coin for when Kona Ice visits the campus.

The fundraiser ends this Friday, so remember to turn in any extra cans to third period classes.
