No More Advisory:
For the next three weeks there will be no more advisory. Over the next two Wednesdays SBAC testing will be taking place, and Wednesday May 31 there will be a Pep Rally. The Sage will be broadcasted on Fridays during second period in the coming three weeks.
Remember Who You Are:
Saturday, May 20 is Sage Creek’s first ever prom, themed “Remember Who You Are.” Prom is available to juniors and seniors and their dates only. In order to attend, you must have filled out a prom dance agreement form and have no outstanding detentions. Tickets are still available for sale at $95 dollars with an ASB sticker and $100 dollars without. The dance will be taking place at the San Diego Zoo Safari park. Directions are available here.
Who Wants To Dance?
Taking place on May 24 and May 25, the Dance Department will be holding Sage Creek Dance Company auditions in room 5001 for next year’s team. These auditions will be taking place from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. and the room will open at 2:30 p.m. for stretch and warm up. In order to try out students need to have their most recent grades, audition form, commitment contract, water, snacks, sneakers, and be dressed in black attire appropriate for dancing.
Ball Up:
Don’t forget that every day during lunch, volleyball takes place in the gym. This is to keep the players in shape and help others learn new skills. Stop by and check it out during lunch if you feel like brushing up on your volleyball skills.
Ted Talk For Seniors:
The Genius Project Symposium will be taking place this week on Thursday, May 18 in the Bobcat Arena. Eight seniors have been selected to present Genius Project Ted Talks. This is going to be a formal event designed to celebrate our seniors and their hard work. If you are interested in attending, fill out the free ticket form available here.
