5 Things to Know
As tedious as daily announcements may be, they are important for understanding what’s going on in the Sage Creek community. By combining some information from the announcements and other SC affiliated organizations, we’ve constructed five significant items for all Bobcats to know going into the next week or so.
1. The Quest for the Cup
Next week (Apr 17-21) is the last week to earn class cup points. There will be a spirit week with a new theme each day (floaties on Monday and tye-dye on Tuesday), as well as a pep rally on Wednesday. Seniors will also be excused early for a one hour, off-campus lunch.
2. Prom Night
Tickets for the May 20 junior and senior prom at the Safari Park in Escondido go on sale Monday, Apr 17. Tickets are $80 dollars with an ASB sticker and $90 dollars without one. Students hoping to attend must also have a Prom dance agreement form and have it signed.
♦♦♦♦ Special notice: students must have no detentions to purchase a ticket. ♦♦♦♦
3. Wanna Peg a Teacher?
Anyone wishing to participate in the Staff v. Students dodgeball tournament on Apr 24-28, must have a team and complete a form that will be available in the academic mall starting next week. According to our faculty, this is a “first come, first serve event.”
4. Mickey Mouse Awaits You Seniors
Friday, Apr 21 is the final day to purchase your Grad Night tickets. Order them on the grad night website to secure the opportunity to go to Disneyland and California Adventure with your senior class.
5. Friars for a Day
Our varsity baseball team will be playing against Canyon Crest Academy at Petco Park on Wednesday, Apr 26 at 4 p.m. Tickets are available in the ASB store for $15 dollars. If you save those tickets, they can be used for the Miami Marlins v. Padres game that Friday at 7 p.m.
Stay tuned at the end of next week for an update on five more things to know!

I like this adaptation that you all took for this. Most professional news outlets have something similar.
