On Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 6 p.m., former President Donald Trump will face Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election’s first live debate.
Factors were considered regarding the constraints of the debate itself including whether the candidates’ microphones would be muted while each individual responded. The topic was originally considered in Oct. 2020 in the previous debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. There will also be no opening statements, no prepared notes allowed and other conditions.
Both parties agreed that the final verdict included muted microphones as both parties are present in the same room for the first time ever.
Harris recently became the Democratic presidential candidate in August after President Joe Biden decided not to run again. Both parties have been making arrangements to ensure their talking points will be ready for the debate and election campaigns.
President Trump said in an interview with AP Magazine that he is not going to prepare because he has “been preparing for a debate” his whole life
The Democratic Party has stressed the importance of preparation. According to CBS News,“The vice president is practicing with extended mock debates, with a focus on policy and an effort to draw a contrast with the former president. A former aide to Hillary Clinton, who played Trump in the mock 2016 debate prep with Clinton, is playing Trump, with a source saying the aide is even dressing like Trump.”
Anticipation is increasing as the candidates prepare to dispute the topics that will frame the country’s politics for the next four years.

Very well written piece. Maybe consider writing an entertainment article next? Can it also be written in Swiss-French?
