Sadie

Belle and Sadie love to spend a ton of time together. They usually go on walks together and play games such as tug of war together. At exactly 5 P.M., Sadie knocks her bowl over to let Belle know she is ready for dinner. From rolling over to playing dead, the mini dachshund has tons of talents. Being the loyal and respectful dog she is, Sadie will not eat her treat until Belle exclaims,”Good girl!”.

Some of Sadie’s favorite treats include chicken, salmon, peanut butter and dog bones. She loves to snuggle with Belle, bark and eat. Her adorable greeting to anyone is to shower them in kisses while jumping on their legs. Sadie strikes poses full of attitude to earn treats. Unlike most dogs, Sadie loves dressing up in clothing such as costumes, sweaters and dresses.

In 2010, Belle’s family had chosen Sadie as she was one of the last in her litter to find a home. Sadie’s name had been chosen from many options between Belle and her mother, Belle narrowed the list down to Roxy and Sadie. Sadie seemed to fit her better. As for Sadie’s middle name, Belle chose the name based off the crafts she would make for her future puppy, one of the paper dog bones had the name “Rose” on it with glitter glue pen which is why Sadie’s middle name is Rose.
