Claire Orosco
She will teach two Biomed courses.
Q: How has the transition from trimester to trimester been?
A: Last year I came in as a long-term sub, kind of in the middle of the tri. That was a little bit overwhelming because I didn’t know exactly what was going on and where things were at. But finishing out last year and transitioning into this school year, it was much smoother because I kind of got to set up the room and get the classes started on my own. I was a lot more comfortable with the material and the pacing.
Q: What are you looking forward to for the rest of this year?
A: I am excited to be teaching PBS again and kind of tweaking some of the lessons that I taught last year. Now that I have a better grasp of the content and the material, I can change it to make it more fun and enjoyable for the student.
Q: What do you like to do on the weekends?
A: For fun, I like to go mountain biking, there’s a lot of cool areas to ride around here. Really anything outdoorsy, so hiking, backpacking and camping. I love doing all that stuff.
