The film begins with a ghost therapist and his daughter Kat, who move into a haunted mansion. Casper, one of the resident ghosts, strikes a quick friendship and romance with Kat, yet they face complications. Casper’s transparent state and trouble from the rest of his family causes him to yearn for nothing more than to be human. From the animations to the special effects, “Casper” brings cartoons to real life and is a fantastic goofy film—and a great alternative instead of a scary movie.
