Concert Choir is taught by Juliana Quinones.
“Concert Choir is open to all students with the desire to sing.  Experience is not required, nor is yearlong participation.  In this class, students will learn to maximize the potential of their own voice, to collaborate with others, and to read and write basic music notation. We are currently seeking more male voices to give our choir a boost!” said Mrs. Quinones.

“I enjoy singing and the people in there are pretty cool.” said senior Levi Folck.

“I have it first period so it’s a great way to wake up in the morning when you are all tired and you really don’t want to go to school then you can go to Choir and everyone’s all happy and excited and it’s really fun” said freshman Miles Huerta.

Wind Ensemble is taught by Juliana Quinones.
“Wind Ensemble is for woodwinds, brass, and percussion.  Again, most students in this class have experience, but if you are ready to work, we can help you!  We are currently looking for oboists, clarinets, and more brass (trumpet, trombone, euphonium, tuba)!” said Mrs. Quinones.

“I personally really like sight reading but other people like getting used to a certain song and being able to play it really well” said junior Gabby Tassinari

Instrumental music is taught by Juliana Quinones..
“Instrumental Music is the only class that is non-performance based.  Students in this class are mostly beginning level music students who want to learn to read music and play instruments. The instruments that we learn each trimester is dependent upon the interests of the class, so every trimester is a bit different.  Sign up and explore your instrumental interests!” said Mrs. Quinones.

“We do group activities and learn about music theory and the rhythm, stuff like that” said freshman Ian Jett.

Orchestra  is taught by Juliana Quinones..
“Orchestra is for string instruments (violin, viola, cello, and bass).  In this class, most students have prior experience, but if you’re motivated, you can join with little to no experience and our students and Ms. Q will help you catch up!” said Mrs. Quinones.

“I like playing pieces of music that I can recognize and that I know from like movies.” said senior Sandy Can

“It’s like a whole new family of people that you get to have fun with and get to go on performing trips and all other sorts of adventures with.” said senior Dimitrios Skondrogiannis.
