An example of why the states can’t always do everything on there own is the events of hurricane Katrina. The state started to collapse due to the citizens of new Orleans being angered by the state not helping them or not giving them what they want. That is when the Government came in and helped the city with supplies and other forms of Aid.

Though it is nice to hear two people sit down and politely talk about an issue, it also matters on the education and proficiency one has in said subject. There is a difference between two people politely talking about societal issues with fact, argument, and structure than two people just politely stating what they think. Multiple times during this podcast I felt myself dozing or waiting for a side to be finished to only be sitting to hear the same side but with slight differentiation. People enjoy a good, fiery argument that has both personalities playing off of each other to provide entertainment to keep them listening. So for your next episode keep the polite but find a topic both of you have your heart in.

When I saw the anime pictures and looked at the title, I thought I was strapped in for a 35-minute cruise on the SS Disappointment.

    I was wrong.

Your discussion was intelligent and thought-provoking. That makes me wonder why The Fascists even let it on here.

You actually talked about important things like the federal government’s influence in state matters, and how if “the government controls too much, things can get out of hand.” You have managed to make my day, my night and my whole month. Bless your intelligent minds and your souls.

Thank you so so much for the kind words! We are so glad to be able to have the opportunity to do this. Far too often do people try too hard to change the mind of the person they’re speaking too, even if its impossible. If you have any suggestions for topics that you’d like to hear on the show, please let us know!
