Letter to the Editors

No one person or group has done more to fight the ill effects of racism on campus than myself, the president of AFLAC.

As the president of AFLAC, I sent an email to the over 100 members of AFLAC denouncing all forms of racially insensitive behavior immediately after club rush.

I sought the advice of leading experts in the field of Defamation and racism in Southern California. I presented my findings to the board and Superintendent of the Carlsbad Unified School District where I explained to them the consequential effects of racism and insensitive behavior on campus. And to show my desire to end insensitive behavior on campus, I donated $400 to the Carlsbad Unified School District to help defray any costs in their fight against any form of racial, gender or religious intolerance.

I want to thank the over 100 members of AFLAC for their continued support. I truly believe that, if given the chance, we will do great things for the residents and students of Carlsbad.

Thank you,

Evan Friedman
