Journalisms Movie Night

This past Friday, The Sage hosted a fundraiser to support its program. The theme was a classic movie night where students sat in the athletic field’s home stands and enjoyed the timeless “Napoleon Dynamite.”

The movie was displayed on a large, inflatable screen that could even be seen by spectators in the back row. Fundraising came in from purchasing tickets and snacks at the concessions table just in front of the vending machines. The show kicked off at around 6:00 p.m. and the crowd stayed silent as the sky grew dark and the plot thickened. Laughs were enjoyed the entire night and many students enjoyed the great night with their peers while supporting The Sage.

“I just like coming and supporting the school. Also, Napoleon Dynamite is great,” senior Nicole Morris recounted.
